Wojciech Szczesny may not be able to stop Kylian Mbappe. Wojciech Szczesny made the ludicrous boast that he would be the one to stop Kylian Mbappe in the FIFA World Cup. France is the favorite in the Round of 16 matches, but the Poland goalkeeper said he is sure of giving a strong performance. Poland fell to Argentina on Wednesday night in the final game of the group stage, but they still advanced to the Round of 16. They finished tied for second place in the standings with Mexico on points, but they prevailed thanks to a superior goal differential.

After the game, Szczesny said that France would face Poland as the favorite in the Round of 16 of the FIFA World Cup. The Juventus goalkeeper, who has a good sense of performance, comically predicted that he would be the one to stop Mbappe throughout the game. They are huge favorites and one of the top teams in the world, but we’ll try our hardest to get through this round, he said. The secret to thwarting Mbappé? Myself!

Didier Deschamps, the manager of France, believes Kylian Mbappe will perform at his peak during the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Following Karim Benzema’s injury, the PSG star was need to step up and perform, he continued. In a media interview, he stated: “He is still a young player, only a little less than four years ago, but he already did extremely big things four years ago.” Since then, he has grown in maturity and is now much more known throughout the world.

Deschamps went on: He doesn’t have any more authority among the squad than he did previously, but we will need his capacity to make a difference since he has always had it. Unlike many other players, he can decide at any time. At the FIFA World Cup, France had a perfect record, winning two of their three games to easily advance to the Round of 16. In their first two games, they won against Australia and Denmark, but on Wednesday, they fell to Tunisia.
