President Florentino Perez has reported, at the Santiago Bernabeu as the tournament resumes, Real Madrid will not conduct all of their remaining La Liga home matches.

The decision was taken to finish the initiative away from the Bernabeu so that repairs could be done at the iconic stadium before time, confirmed Perez.

“We have made the choice to compete in the Alfredo Di Stefano stadium in our Ciudad Real Madrid all the games in which we will participate as the home team.” Perez wrote in a letter to Madrid’s fans.

“This decision will help us to make progress in Santiago Bernabeu stadium works.”

Although Perez’s announcement can see the project built ahead of time, the new Bernabeu was supposed to be finished in the summer of 2022.
