Midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum is expected to depart from Liverpool on a free agent basis in the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old midfielder has not agreed on a contract extension with the English club while the ongoing contract will expire this summer, according to journalist Nicolo Schira.
According to the source, Barcelona has offered the player a 3-year agreement with a salary of €8 million per year and working on arranging a move for Wijnaldum.
It is also reported that Wijnaldum was also interested in Inter. The Italian club has enquired about the player but has not made him an official offer at the moment.
This season the midfielder has played 29 games for Liverpool and scored two goals.
