Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has spoken out about Frank Lampard’s departure from the club.
“Of course, with all due respect to Frank Lampard’s legacy and his work here I got an opportunity. At the end, there was no doubt about grabbing it because the club has a combination of personality, experience and intelligence. It’s a nice set-up to work with,” said Tuchel to Talk Sport.
“I have a lot of respect for Frank. The club made this decision, which has nothing to do with me. I was given a chance and here I am.”
