In the Europa League’s second qualifying round, while Milan will play Shamrock Rovers in one of the most interesting ties, Tottenham Hotspur was drawn to Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Any time before José Mourinho’s side has never faced the Bulgarian club, which conquered Montenegro’s Iskra Danilovgrad in the earlier round. When Bolton crushed them, Lokomotiv last came up against an English club in the 2005-06 Uefa Cup.

On September 17, Shamrock Rovers, runners-up in the League of Ireland last year, will welcome Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s likes at the Tallaght Stadium. Rovers qualified for the second round, winning a 12-11 penalty shootout last week against Ilves Tampere of Finland. Both games will be challenged on a single leg, behind closed doors.

While Celtic will reach the third qualifying round after their loss against Ferencvaros in the Champions League, Arsenal and Leicester City will start their campaigns in the group stage.

Rest of the matches are on the official UEFA website.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
