After it was inaugurated that his income from sponsors in the period from 2012 to 2016 was overvalued, the European Football Association (UEFA) has denied Manchester City from competing in club tournaments for the next two years and fined the current English champions 30 million euros.

BBC reported that The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Tuesday declared the verdict to debate the Manchester City’s appeal against the two-year embargo on appearances in European club competitions from June 8 to 10.

Opposing allegations that serious violations of the rules had been imposed, which troubled the main sponsor, the Etihad, the state-owned airline of Abu Dhabi, The city immediately appealed after the first-instance decision.

The German magazine Spiegel in November last year reported that proprietor of Manchester City, Sheikh Mansour, had paid most of the sponsorship money that was alleged to come from the Etihad.

In this case, the CAS judgment should be made before the Champions League draw for the following season is made.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
