Manchester United head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shared his opinion about goalkeepers David de Gea and Dean Henderson.
“You know, David has been here for 10 years. He’s been great – making save after save, season after season, at the highest level. Dean is learning and adding to it. We have no such thing as an undisputed number one. We need to play,” the coach told Manchester Evening News.
“I’m not blind. I’ve been reading media over the last couple of weeks where people are writing David off. This is completely wrong. David is a top goalkeeper. He was sent home due to the birth of his daughter and Dean performed very well replacing him.”
“I would rather have three very good goalkeepers than none. I am in a very fortunate position because I have two top goalkeepers.”
