Ronaldo returns to Man United club on 6 month’s deal. Following Karim Benzema‘s injury, Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has offered to sign a six-month contract to return to Real Madrid, according to SPORT. Following his chat with journalist Piers Morgan, Ronaldo’s future at Old Trafford is now unknown.

In addition to attacking Manchester United for what he saw as a betrayal, the former Real Madrid striker let loose on manager Erik ten Hag by declaring that he did not respect him. In 16 appearances in different competitions, eight of which were as a starter, he has three goals and two assists.

As they weigh their options regarding the 37-year-old, the Red Devils are not interested in having Ronaldo back among the first-team squad. The possibility of ending Ronaldo’s Manchester United contract presents difficulties because the club wants to release him without compensating him.

The attacker wants to go back to Madrid, and Benzema’s injury issues might make it possible. The French striker’s thigh injury, which he suffered during Les Bleus’ pre-tournament practice, has forced him to withdraw from the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, is searching for a new striker even if there is no timetable for Benzema’s comeback. It has been stated that Perez and Ronaldo get along well despite the tumultuous nature of the latter’s 2018 move to Juventus.

Ronaldo is eager to play for the Santiago Bernabeu for six months, before returning to Champions League action. During his 438 games for Madrid, he scored 450 goals. Along with other accolades with Los Blancos, the Portuguese won the Champions League four times and the La Liga championship twice.
