Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has won the Best FIFA Men’s player award for 2020.
In a final that pitted the striker against previous winners Cristiano Ronaldo of Juventus and Barcelona’s Lionel Messi, it seems Lewandowski was awarded the title after a tremendous campaign on an individual level, as well as being part of a team that beat all before them.
Lewandowski also helped his Bayern side win a historic treble, as they won the German Bundesliga and DFB Pokal, as well as the UEFA Champions League.
The Polish striker had a remarkable season in 2019/20, scoring 55 goals and creating 10 assists in just 47 games in all competitions.
