On August 7 the second leg of the Real Madrid Champions League is likely to be the last-16 clash with Manchester City.

If the fixture begins in Manchester on that day, it’s going to be 174 days since Pep Guardiola’s side won the first leg 2-1 at the Stadio Santiago Bernabeu. Los Blancos will start the game with almost three months of work under their belts if all goes as expected.

Zinedine Zidane’s team will have been training for a few weeks and will play their 11 remaining LaLiga Santander matches, ending by the end of July.

On May 27 at its Executive Board meeting, UEFA must make a final statement on the scheduling of the Champions League and the Europa League.

According to Marca, the dates for the second legs of Barcelona-Napoli, Juventus-Lyon, and Bayern Munich-Chelsea will also be determined.
