In a Real Madrid jersey, Sergio Ramos continues creating history.
Marking his 450th start at LaLiga for the club on the night, the captain scored from the penalty spot to finalize the victory over Getafe.
Following the final whistle, the president exemplified Ramos with a commemorative shirt.
Subsequently Raúl (550), Sanchís (523), Casillas (510), and Santillana (461), the captain is the fifth individual in Madrid’s history to strike the figure.
Earning 302 victories, Ramos has attained 488 of his 450 games from the beginning. He is still the top-scoring leader in the history of LaLiga, having 70 goals (68 for Real Madrid and 2 for Sevilla).
Ramos eclipsed the mark of Santillana (645) and is now only behind Raúl (741), Casillas (725) and Sanchís (710).
He still sits alone on the all-time impressions chart of the team in the fourth position as the game with Getafe was the 646th fixture of the leader as a Madridista.
