The Premier League has found zero positive results from the new round of coronavirus testing.

No positive cases of coronavirus, in the latest round of testing confirmed the Premier League.

A total of 1,973 players and club officials were checked between June 29 and July 5, the league reported on Monday.

There had only been one positive finding in the previous round of testing.

Since May 17 16,280 tests carried out and have yielded 19 positive results.

England’s top-flight came back from a three-month suspension in the wake of the June 17 pandemic.

With the final of the FA Cup set for August 1, the season of the Premier League will conclude on July 26.
