Mauricio Pochettino is considered to be preparing for his next dugout test and has been out of work since his November dismissal from Tottenham Hotspur.

Pochettino officially rejected the opportunity to become Monaco’s next boss.

And until the start of the new season just weeks left, Argentina is certainly linked to a variety of high-profile positions across Europe.

Before Monaco finally appointed Nico Kovac the 48-year-old ignored the advances of officials from the club, according to The Athletic.

Monaco faces another season of rebuilding after finishing the last campaign in ninth place, which could include concentrating on improving their younger players at a time when purchases are likely to have to be made during the next transfer window.

Prior to any concrete proposals are determined, Pochettino is prepared to bid his time, the reports added.
