In the derby of the 26th round of the French football championship Monaco, led by Croatian expert Niko Kovač, defeated PSG 2-0 at the Princes’ Park.
Paris Saint-Germain head coach Mauricio Pochettino maintained that the below-par performance of Kylian Mbappe was not solely to blame for the 2-0 loss against Monaco on Sunday.

Following his underwhelming showing in a shock loss at the hands of Monaco, Mauricio Pochettino defended Kylian Mbappe.
“Today, it’s not only Kylian but the whole team that hasn’t been at the level,” Pochettino said post-game.
“That didn’t show what it takes to win. But as I said, the first person responsible is the manager and I take responsibility for it.”
“When you lose, the first person responsible is the manager and I fully assume it.”
