The BBC reports that as part of the Premiership team Chelsea has announced their former goalkeeper Petar Cech.

Cech has been reported as a goalkeeping substitute, and Chelsea decided on this move in case the first elections in that position are canceled due to the coronavirus, says unofficial sources.

Little over a year ago Cech retired when he lost the Europa League final to Chelsea as the Arsenal goalkeeper.

He spent 11 seasons at Chelsea and recorded 494 appearances.

He won four English Champions titles, the Champions League, four Fa Cups, and two League Cups.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
