Manchester City’s head coach Pep Guardiola estimated Liverpool’s possibilities of winning the championship before the 8th round match between the clubs.

“Liverpool is the main favorite. Given the consequences of the pandemic, this season will be different from the previous one. There are many top-level teams in our championship,” said Guardiola at the pre-match conference as per BBC.

“It is important to stay in the fight for the title until the last five or ten games of the season. I hope that we will be in the race. It is important to win the championship. It doesn’t matter how many points we have to take. Sometimes we get more points, sometimes we get less points.”

“The first time we scored a hundred points. Maybe that wasn’t necessary, but we did it. All we can do is concentrate on ourselves and on the improvements we need to win.”

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
