Pep Guardiola, head coach of Manchester City has shared his expectations for the match against Borussia M’gladbach in the Champions League 1/8 final.

“They have a lot of experienced players. Sommer is an outstanding goalkeeper who is involved in the combination game. They also have a quality midfield. They create good chances,” Guardiola said to UEFA official website.

“They are a strong team, and I respect German clubs because I know how strong they are.”

“We have everybody except Nathan Ake who is healthy. We need to focus on our work. We are in the Champions League.”

“The opponents play good combination football, using short passes, and they also use fast forwards on the counterattack. The players in midfield, Neuhaus and Zakaria or Kramer, know exactly what they are doing.”

“Borussia can change the formation, play four or five defenders, and they have quite a specific idea.”

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
