Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has indicated that he is open to staying at Old Trafford as, after apparently surviving a tough time, he is ‘enjoying himself.’

The 27-year-old contract is set to expire in June 2022, and Mino Raiola, the agent of the midfielder, recently insisted that his client will not negotiate contract extensions.

While the uncertainty about his future begins to gather momentum, Pogba has insisted that he is content at Old Trafford.

“You were waiting for this one, weren’t you? I’m under contract, I’m here. I’m enjoying myself. I’m here. Everybody knows I have one year left and I speak with the club and see what’s going on,” Pogba told Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport’s YouTube channel.

“As I say, now, my objective, my goal is to win something. That’s all I’m thinking about is to win. Bring all my energy, give my best to help the team the most I can, and to win something. That’s all I’m focusing on. The contract, that’s not important, it’s to win.”
