Players from Valenciennes and Sochaux engaged in a fight in the match of the 2nd division of France.

After the conflict, Valenciennes goalkeeper Jerome Prior had blood on his cheek.

The player claimed that the Sochaux midfielder Ousseynou Thioune bit him but Thioune denies the charges.

He stated that the brawl was due to the fact that Prior insulted him on racial grounds.

“When Prior insulted me for the second time, I told him:” Let’s go out now and deal with it. Yes, I pressed my head against his cheek, I was angry and wanted to hit him with my head,” quotes Thioune Foxsports.

But I did not do it. I didn’t bite him.”

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
