Harry Kane did not travel with Tottenham’s squad to Portugal for the Europa Conference League qualifier match against Pacos de Ferreira. While he is said to accompany Spurs in the next match against Wolves on Sunday, coach Nuno Espirito Santo is unsure whether he will be able to call on Harry Kane on Sunday.

To participate in the Europa Conference League qualifier Spurs traveled to Portugal on Wednesday where they will face Pacos de Ferreira. The 28-year-old played no part in the Spurs’ 1-0 victory over Manchester City on Sunday as he only returned to training last Friday. However, the football news of Kane’s possibilities of playing against his potential future club made rounds over the internet.

Tottenham Hotspur is next destined to compete Nuno’s former club Wolves and the England captain’s availability is still unknown. The London club’s now coach Nuno Espirito Santo left Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of last season.

In a news conference, Nuno told, “I cannot answer this. I can answer that he’s getting better and better, fitter and he will join the group on Friday. Then we’ll see,” according to Evening Standard.

“He’s better than yesterday and hopefully he’s going to be better tomorrow. That’s how all the players working should be: improving and working on fitness.” Asked if he was in contact with Kane, Nuno said: “We speak to all the players on a daily basis. It’s normal that we speak to them all.”

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
