Bayer has fired their head coach Peter Bos, confirms the official website of the club.
The Dutchman sacking is a result of recent unsatisfactory outputs from the coach, with the team relegated from the Europa League, losing in the German Cup to a club from the 4th division, and in the Bundesliga, in their last nine games, they have only two wins while suffering five defeats.
Until the end of the season, Hannes Wolf, who trained with the German U18 national youth team, takes charge of the Leverkusen club.
Former Bayer’s assistant head coach Peter Hermann will assist Wolf. he has worked at Bayer from 1989 to 2008 and also from 2009 to 2011.
