Joachim Löw to resign German national team after Euro 2020

Germany head coach Joachim Löw will vacate his post after Euro 2020, as per DFB.

The 61-year-old specialist himself has requested the closure of his contract, which was initially outlined until the 2022 World Cup, after the European Championship. The German Football Association granted his request.

He was crowned world champion in 2014, bronze medallist in 2010, and won the Confederations Cup in 2017. Löw has been Germany’s manager since 2006.

Germany under Leo finished second in 2008 and won bronze twice, in 2012 and 2016 at the European Championships.

In 2014 Löw was crowned FIFA Coach of the Year.
