Arteta on Barca connection: It is a privilege for me to coach Arsenal

Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta has expressed his beliefs on the information that he is one of the candidates to coach Barcelona.

“There will always be speculation at Barcelona during the presidential elections. It’s a big club, I became a player there, we will always be linked with each other,” said Arteta to Sky Sports.

“But I am completely focused on the work I have to do at Arsenal, and there is a lot of work to do here, which I like. It is a privilege for me to coach this club and I am happy.”

“Today I am the Arsenal coach and I will be tomorrow, I love it and I want to do better.”

Arteta was in the Barcelona system (1997-2001) but failed to make it into the first team.
