Newcastle United is linked to sighting Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha as one of their key transfer goals should their planned takeover be completed.

This season Zaha has disclosed his desire to leave the Palace for a larger club in recent windows, although so far no clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton have been in the links.

Zaha has been priced for £60 m by the Eagles in an effort to fend off the interest but according to the Daily Mail, Newcastle would be willing to meet that said price.

The Magpies are currently waiting for the approval of the Premier League for a takeover of over £300 m and, if this happens, they are supposed to undergo a massive overhaul this summer.

Zaha’s willingness to play soccer in the Champions League may be a possible obstacle, but Mauricio Pochettino might be named as the candidate for the top four in the coming years by Newcastle United.

Achieving three goals and making five more, the 27-year-old made 30 appearances for Palace this season.
