Joachim Löw decided not to invite Bayern players Thomas Müller and Jerome Boateng to the team, as well as Borussia defender Mats Hummels, and German goalkeeper Manuel Neuer commented on the same.
“All three of these players could have helped out there. They have often proved this in the past. And none of them, neither Thomas, nor Mats, nor Jerome completed the German national team,” Neuer said in an interview with Bild as quoted by Bayern&Germany.
“Of course this is a public issue. Let’s wait and see how things develop. In general, this is the decision of the national team coach.”
