How many goals has Salah scored throughout his career? Salah is one of the few great goal-scorers in today’s game. Outside of Lionel Messi, Mohamed Salah is arguably the most well-known goal-scoring winger in football. Due to the fact that the Egyptian wasn’t always the high-scoring speedster we see today, the Liverpool star’s career is a tale of perseverance and never giving up. Few people would have connected him with goals per se in the early stages of his professional career due to his apparent inability to be clinical in front of goal, which initially held him back.

But through experiences at numerous clubs in various competitions, he honed his skills in the last third and matured into the best player he is today. Salah has largely had successes during his time at Liverpool, where he has played a significant role in the Reds’ five-year run of success. And it’s not just Liverpool where he’s had an impact; Salah also had a significant role in some of the best recent football played by Roma, Fiorentina, and Basel during his time there. However, how many goals has he actually scored? Let’s look at it.

Salah’s total career goals for club and country:

Salah has a compelling case for the title of all-time best African player. He has overcome setbacks throughout his career and returned to win all the club championships a player is capable of.  Despite Egypt’s lack of championships, he inspires and gives hope to the entire nation, with many aspiring young footballers dreaming to be the next Salah.  Salah still has plenty of time to make more history for his club and country while continuing to make waves in his career.
