Zlatan Ibrahimovic entered Hammarby’s dressing room violating COVID-19 rules, the Milan striker has courted controversy back home.
Last night Ibrahimovic took the opportunity to watch Hammarby – the club he owns in part – host Ostersund in their Allsvenskan opener. He is also recuperating from a calf injury in Sweden.
His team won 2-0 and to congratulate them Ibrahimovic walked into the player’s dressing room, after the final whistle.
Only players and staff are permitted in the dressing room but the 38-year-old hindered the health protocol, warned Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Reports in his home country state that the Swedish FA may open an inquiry into his actions.
Milan, meanwhile, will not punish him for allowing him to fly back to Sweden on his day off.
Zlatan is scheduled to be checked on Wednesday to decide how long he’s going to be out. He was recently linked with signing for Hammarby.
