Milan showed an interest in signing a free transfer to Burnley midfielder Jeff Hendrick, states SkySports.
Hendrick has yet to agree with the Premier League side to extend as he is out of contract this summer. The Republic of Ireland has capped him 54 times.
Ahead of the next transfer deadline Milan is reviewing their choices and indicated their involvement in Hendrick till the coronavirus pandemic.
Burnley held early discussions about a new deal for Hendrick and appeared optimistic to keep him at Turf Moor.
Under the coaching of boss Sean Dyche, Hendrik was a big player in the midfield of Burnley. Several other Premier League clubs expressed interest in Irish international.
The 28-year-old made 139 appearances for the club, scoring 10 goals since he joined Burnley in August 2016 for a £10.5 m club-record fee.
As the Premier League gets back on June 17, Hendrick is back in training with Burnley.
