Aston Villa remains perfect after Sunday’s victory in the Premier League and Milan top Serie A.
In the top five European leagues with 100 percent records the only remaining teams are Milan and Aston Villa.
All eyes were on the likes of Italy’s Juventus and Inter, while Premier League champions Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and England’s Arsenal were the focus.
But in 2020-21, winning all four of their Serie A fixtures to top the standings, Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s Milan was flawless.
Following Sunday’s surprise 1-0 victory at Leicester City after four matchdays in the Premier League, Villa still has a perfect record.
After narrowly escaping relegation last season Villa, who has a game in hand, now sits second, having embarrassed titleholders Liverpool 7-2 before the international break.
