Mikel Arteta, Arsenal head coach has addressed the team’s poor performances this season.
“Last year we beat Everton 3-2. Our probability of winning that game was 25%. Last weekend there was a 67% chance of winning any Premier League game in history and a 9% chance of losing. And we’re losing,” said Arteta to Sky Sports.
“Three percent against Burnley and we lose. Seven percent against Tottenham and we lose.”
“Beyond that, there’s something else. It’s not just a performance on the pitch, there’s something that should help us, but it’s not happening right now.”
“All of the above doesn’t bother anyone because we’re losing. That’s the only thing that matters. The only thing that matters is that we are losing a football match.”
From 14 games Arsenal has 14 points and sits 15th in the EPL table, just four points ahead of teams in the relegation zone.
