At the King Power Stadium, Neal Maupay’s absent penalty proved crucial as Brighton and Leicester played a goalless Premier League draw.
Frenchman Maupay, Brighton’s hero with a late winner against Arsenal in the previous game, amazingly saved his first-half spot-kick by Kasper Schmeichel low to his right.
The weak game was the only chance of notice and was not supported by a vacant stadium or the scorching weather.
While Brighton pushed six points out from the relegation zone, Leicester secured third position on the table, nine points from fifth-placed Manchester United.
