The Bayern goalkeeper from Germany has undergone numerous skin cancer surgeries. Bayern Munich’s Manuel Neuer has revealed that he has undergone three surgeries since receiving a diagnosis of skin cancer on his face. The German international has opened up about his current health issues. He recently collaborated on a skincare brand with tennis player Angelique Kerber.

When I compare myself to Angelique, we both share very personal histories when it comes to skin issues. In a press statement, he claimed that Angelique had skin cancer on her face and sun-induced hyperpigmentation, both of which required three procedures. We have taken extra care to guarantee that we no longer skimp on sun protection because I train outdoors frequently and enjoy spending my free time outdoors.

Neuer is about to make his return to the team after missing time with a shoulder injury since Bayern’s Bundesliga match with Dortmund at the beginning of October. Germany fans were concerned that the No. 1 for the national team might not be available for the World Cup in Qatar, which starts later this month, despite Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann’s confirmation that he might play against Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
