Sadio Mane, a Liverpool winger has appreciated teammate Roberto Firmino for his contribution to the team’s success.

“He deserves more recognition than me or Salah, that’s for sure. But that’s part of football – always looking at goals scored. I think without Bobby, Mo and I wouldn’t have scored as many goals, to be honest,” Mane told ESPN Brasil.

“He makes things easier for us. I think Brazil are lucky to have him. I always say to Bobby, “You should change your nationality to Senegalese. It would be a dream come true!”

“I love him, he’s my favorite teammate.”

In 25 games during the EPL season, Firmino has scored six goals and given five assists.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
