Manchester United is all set to welcome Leicester City at Old Trafford on Tuesday night and gears to postpone Manchester City’s Premier League title celebrations once again. Leicester’s top-four hopes were shattered by a humiliating 4-2 loss to Newcastle United, on the other hand, Manchester United came back to win 3-1 at Aston Villa on Sunday. Here’s everything need to know about Manchester United vs Leicester match prediction and lineup.

Manchester United lineup: Henderson; Tuanzebe, Lindelof, Bailly, Telles; Matic, McTominay, Van de Beek; Mata; Greenwood, Cavani

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has no choice but to make significant changes in starting XI with the visit of Liverpool just 48 hours later.

Harry Maguire has been ruled out against his former club on Tuesday after sustaining an ankle injury in Sunday’s 3-1 victory over Aston Villa.

Alex Telles, Eric Bailly, Axel Tuanzebe, David de Gea, Brandon Williams, Donny van de Beek, Juan Mata, and even Amad Diallo could all start against Leicester.

Mason Greenwood was subbed off just after the hour mark against Villa, indicating that he would keep his place in the team here, with Edinson Cavani being saved for the Liverpool match.

Leicester City lineup: Schmeichel; Amartey, Soyuncu, Fofana; Castagne, Ndidi, Tielemans, Thomas; Perez; Iheanacho, Vardy

Leicester’s unexpected drop in form has come at the worst possible time for Brendan Rodgers, who would like to save some players for the FA Cup final this weekend, but still needs to get points on the board to ensure a top four finish.

No chances are likely to be taken with Jonny Evans after pulling up injury in the warm-up prior to last week’s shock loss to Newcastle.

At Old Trafford on Tuesday, Ayoze Perez, Luke Thomas, Daniel Amartey, Nampalys Mendy, and Dennis Praet all have a chance to start, and it wouldn’t be surprising if Jamie Vardy is rested ahead of their Wembley showdown.

Prediction

Manchester United wants to finish as close to Manchester City as possible, but with four games in seven days, they’ve been dealt an impossible hand. Leicester will reap the benefits of United’s fixture overload, as the Foxes are expected to appoint a second-string XI on Tuesday night.

This is the better time for Leicester to break their Old Trafford curse as they face tired Red Devils.

Expect a slew of changes, Man United has plenty of depth, and we think they’ll come away with a win.

Our Prediction: Manchester United 1-1 Leicester City
