The report says Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the United boss, is said to be a fan of Rice, who spent some of his childhood at Chelsea Academy.

According to the Daily Express, Manchester United may make a bid for the West Ham midfielder and Chelsea target Rice at the end of the season.

So far, Rice has played every minute of West Ham’s Premier League campaign.
