After overthrowing Real Madrid (2:1) in the second leg of the Champions League 1/8 final, Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling communicated his emotions.
Sterling said to BBC Sport, “Energy, passion. This is a tournament in which we want to succeed. If we play our football and work very hard, then we will achieve a result. We knew how good Real Madrid was. The difference was who’s running over today.
I think we were great today. We wanted to put pressure on them, and thanks to that we scored two goals.”
“Scoring 100 goals for the club is a great achievement. I hope there will be a lot of more.”
