Manchester City beat Everton 3-1 away, recording their 12th consecutive victory, in the postponed match of the 16th round of the English Football Championship.

It was also the 16th consecutive game of “Citizens” without defeat.

Pep Guardiola’s team played 16 games without defeat, with 14 wins and two draws as the team suffered its last defeat on November 21 last year against Tottenham (0-2).

Richarlison (37) scored for Everton while goals for the guests were scored by Phil Foden (32), Riyad Mahrez (63) and Bernardo Silva (77).

Manchester City is in the lead with 56 points, Manchester United and Leicester City have 46 points each, and Chelsea and West Ham have 42 points each.

The reigning champions Liverpool are in sixth place with 40 points, while their city rival Everton is a step lower with three points less.
