The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has reported that Manchester City is expected to know the outcome of their Champions League ban appeal in early July.
The champions of the Premier League struggle to overturn the ruling of UEFA to forbid the club from European competition for the next two seasons and to fine them with € 30 million after finding them guilty of Financial Fair Play regulations.
CAS said in a statement: “The decision is expected to be issued in the first half of July 2020. The exact date will be known in advance.”
After they were reported to have performed “serious breaches” of UEFA’s rules on team licenses and financial fair play (FFP) regulations, City was sanctioned in February.
