James Maddison admits he’s still content in Leicester City, amid reports that he’s been away from the club this summer, and shared he wants to win titles.
At King Power Stadium the 23-year-old midfielder has become a sensation and has previously been linked to a move to Manchester United.
Maddison was part of a squad that exceeded all expectations, with the Foxes sitting in third place at the Premier League table, and the playmaker hopes there will be more success to come.
During an interview for Puma, he told former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry, “I’m really enjoying it at Leicester.”
“I have a trophy cabinet at home, but there are no trophies in it.”
“We got to the semi-final of the Carabao Cup and when we were knocked out in the last minute by Aston Villa, it was a feeling I’d never felt before. That was when I realized I wanted to win trophies. We’re in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, so fingers crossed.”
This season Maddison scored nine goals and three assists for the Foxes in all competitions and last year in November he earned his first England cap against Montenegro.
