On August 7 Lyon will play the second leg of their Champions League against Juventus in Turin says the club chairman Jean-Michel Aulas.

In the first leg of round 16, the Ligue 1 side lead 1-0  but COVID-19 prevented playing the second leg in Italy as planned.

Aulas told RTL, “For Friday, August 7, in Turin and behind closed doors, the game against Juventus is confirmed.” “If the appeals are unsuccessful, Lyon and PSG will be massacred by teams that will have a preparation that we will not.”

Aulas is concerned at the decision to cancel the 2019/20 Ligue 1 season and the pandemic’s financial impact.

“The crisis represents a loss for French football of 900 million euros,” he explained.

“For life, it might affect us. I don’t know who can survive this.”There’s no obligation [to end the season]. We are an exception in Europe.’

These are the dates according to Aulas:

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
