According to two-time Champions League champion Deco, PSG star Neymar is on the same level as Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo as he claimed Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski who is a “strong player” but the Brazilian is a step ahead of the attacker.
“If we consider the final of the Champions League to be crucial in deciding who’s the best, there’s no lying,” the 42-year-old exclusively told Goal.
“Lewandowski is a fantastic player, a champion, maybe the best striker in today’s world.”
“But Neymar is different – he is at the point of Messi and Ronaldo. Maybe the final will determine who is picked so I will prefer Neymar as one of the audience and as a football fan. He’s special, he’s playing amazing football.”
