In UEFA Champions League group stage 5th round match, Krasnodar beat Rennes. 

The scoring was opened in 71 minutes, by Krasnodar forward Marcus Berg. The defender Alexander Martynovich from the center of the field threw the ball to the penalty area of Renna, Berg overtook Da Silva and technically in the bottom corner of the net hit the goal.

William Collum’s team of Scottish referees judged the meeting. The assistants were Francis Connor and David Micucci. The reserve referee was Nick Walsh.

With 4 points, Krasnodar takes third place in Champions League Group E. Murad Musayev’s team guaranteed itself a place in the UEFA Europa League. Rennes are the last. Leaders are Chelsea and Sevilla (10 points each).
