Manchester United and Chelsea goal Kai Havertz has asked to sit down with bosses at Bayer Leverkusen while he seeks to figure out his future.
From all over Europe, the German star has drawn attention following a spectacular season.
But Real Madrid and both the Champions league duo were all linked to a Havertz swoop.
To decide how next season he’ll be playing his football, the 21-year-old has demanded to sit down in the BayArena with senior figures, reports Bild.
Chelsea has already demonstrated its willingness to splash the cash and has emerged to sign the German as a favorite.
They would allow the player to leave in the coming months if an acceptable arrangement can be achieved, Leverkusen CEO Rudi Voller has already confirmed.
“There is nothing special to say, nothing specific to consider. He is our player as of now,” he added.
“We have our plans; we know what he would do. I really think he can continue for another year. We’ve got an agreement: if it works, he’ll be free to go this summer.”
