Jurgen Klopp: don’t want to make transfers in January just for the sake of it

Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has commented on the selection in the winter transfer window.

“We have internal reserves, but we are still hampered by injuries. For most of the season we have had a problem with the central defender position, but it happens: once trouble starts, there is no stopping it,” quotes Klopp ESPN.

“We have solutions inside the team but I don’t know if we will be able to do anything in January. That’s the way it is.”

“As far as I’m concerned, this transfer window will be extremely tough. Not all clubs have the money for reinforcements. And there is no point in making transfers for the sake of making transfers. We need sensible action.”

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
