Jerome Boateng’s former partner Kasia Lenhardt, 25, was found dead on Tuesday in her Berlin apartment.

After his former partner has died, Bayern Munich will be without Jerome Boateng for the near future.

Her death is not being viewed as suspicious by officials.

Jerome Boateng left the Bayern Munich Club World Cup team to return to Germany, after the death of Kasia Lenhardt.

Flick told a news conference: “This has stunned us.”

“Jerome came to me and asked me to return home. After a negative [COVID-19] test, he will return home and not be available until further notice.”
