At San Siro in a match between Fiorentina and Inter 0-0, Pietro Terracciano performed heroics, ensuring Atalanta is now second.

The Nerazzurri needed a win and at least postpone the Juventus Scudetto squad, to retain the second position here. Christian Eriksen and Romelu Lukaku returned to the starting XI, but Matias Vecino and Stefano Sensi were out of practice. Fiorentina, unexpectedly, benched Federico Chiesa when Bartlomiej Dragowski was still nursing an injury.

Inter center-back Stefan de Vrij suffered a knee injury, making way for Andrea Ranocchia in San Siro’s driving rain for just 23 minutes.

In the end, Fiorentina may have taken it but somehow lost a counter-attack three-against-one.

Inter 0 – 0 Fiorentina

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
