To sign Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, Inter Milan have joined Barcelona in the race, according to a source.
Ahead of the January transfer window, Barca boss Ronald Koeman recently confirmed his interest in the Dutchman, whom he managed at the international level.
With inquiries already being made by Chief Executive Giuseppe Marotta, Inter is making a bid of their own for the New Year, Italian outlet Calciomercato.com reports.
Wijnaldum is due to be out of contract and has failed to address questions about a new offer, at the conclusion of the campaign.
