With the potential to proceed for another year, Dean Henderson has approved on a new deal to keep him until June 2025 at Manchester United.
Henderson, who has been with the club since the age of 14, said: “The journey I have been on over the last five years has been great for my growth and part of it has been the crucial loan spell at Sheffield United.”
“The goalkeeping department at United is excellent; there are three top-level goalkeepers who have accomplished so much in the game and I hope to work with the squad. The confidence that the Manager and the club have in me in this deal means a lot to me and will help my development as a goalkeeper.”
“I’ll try to give everything to improve every day and I can play as many games as I can with this wonderful team. Now I’m looking forward to meeting the England squad and training for the next season.”
Henderson kept 13 clean sheets in the league last season.
