Ryan Giggs has confirmed about him not being in touch over Gareth Bale with Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane.
In September the forward was called up to Giggs’ Wales squad for their games against Finland and Bulgaria in the Nations League.
“I haven’t spoken to Zidane,” Giggs told the press says Marca. “My French and Spanish aren’t too good.”
“That’s my way out of that one. I know Zidane’s English isn’t very good from experience.”
Giggs isn’t too concerned, despite Bale’s lack of game time at Real Madrid.
“I’m just monitoring the situation,” Giggs added.
“When Gareth gets on camp, I will speak to him like I always do.”
