Fulham lost to Aston Villa on Monday and is yet to claim a spot in the Premier League this term.

The Fulham President disclosed how his side failed to land the center-back, with a $13 million move to Sassuolo’s Marlon after he failed his medical.

The Craven Cottagers are able to shift their weights away from the look of things and are looking to add a center-back before the summer transfer window closes.

According to The Sun, to sign Inter Milan Skriniar, Fulham is fighting against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Serie A giants are selling for £ 45 million, but the Spurs are holding back.

The North Londoners were prepared to pay between £ 30 million and £35 million for the services of the 25-year-old, and they decided more from the suitors, while Inter decided to cash in on him.

Fulham is going to have to outbid Tottenham and persuade Skriniar with a big salary to have the slightest chance of getting the deal done.

Until now Fulham has signed six players this season.

But they obviously need to focus on quality rather than quantity, and it seems like they are ready to do so with a bold offer for the Inter Star.

Writing about football is one of my favorite things to do. As a football writer, I love the rush of being in the stadium on game day and watching all the action live. It's like no other feeling for me. I'm passionate about writing about it, but until recently I've been doing it as a hobby rather than a profession.
